Money Train 3: Review and Theme

Do whatever you must to prepare yourself mentally and physically for a reel-bound juggernaut, including locking up your pets, battening down the hatches, and tying your shoelaces twice. We're talking about Money Train 3 by Relax Gaming, and if you've played the previous slots, or at least survived them, you'll undoubtedly have high expectations for the third installment. To minimize the suspense, let's venture forth and see what condition we're in when we emerge from the other side.

The game begins with a scene-setting introduction that propels Money Train 3 from the arid lands of the previous installment to a futuristic setting. The game begins when a character resembling Jinx fires a laser that takes the form of an ultra-chromed train. The base game is set in... a workshop, a station, or a laboratory where locomotives are modified into something more enigmatic? Your guess is as good as ours, but it significantly differs from what has come before and reinforces Relax Gaming's fascination with science fiction. A Western-inspired soundtrack strengthens the connection between the games in the series before placing a wager on what might rumble next.

The game's lower-paying symbols are chunky diamonds, clubs, hearts, and spades, which are worth 3 to 5 times the wager for five of a kind. The game's higher-paying symbols are four-character symbols worth 8 to 20 times the wager. This section concludes with the wild symbol, which appears on all reels. Wilds have the same value as the highest-paying premium symbol when substituting for pay symbols.

As usual, Relax Gaming has created characters with a rugged appearance, and the Morriconean western theme is a nod to the game's origins. The base game includes a sticky symbol streak respin feature with a possible multiplier boost, and the Money Cart Bonus Round introduces brand-new special modifier symbols. Fans won't be disappointed, and it's safe to say that this is the best installment of the MT franchise to date.

Money Train 3: Game Features

Money Train 3 has bonus features, such as the Respin feature, the Money Cart Bonus Round, and the option to purchase up to four Bonus Features.

Buy feature – Players can purchase one of four bonus buy options by clicking the bonus buy button. These include the bonus game with one initial spin for 20x the wager, the bonus game with two initial spins for 50x the wager, the standard bonus round for 100x the wager, and the bonus round with one initial Persistent Symbol for 500x the wager.

Respin feature – The first bonus in the game is the Respin feature. This bonus is randomly triggered after each unsuccessful spin. One of the symbols is chosen at random to be a sticky symbol.

Any time the respin features those additional symbols of the same kind of land, an additional respin is granted. Additionally, multiplier symbols of x1, x2, or x3 can appear. They are not sticky, but they do grant respins.

Money Cart Bonus Round - When at least three Bonus symbols appear on the reels, the Money Cart Bonus Round is activated. This bonus feature, when activated, reveals a wager multiplier and awards three additional spins.

When a column is filled, a new one will be created. This can happen twice during a bonus round. As a bonus, the reels will be populated with various bonus symbols with additional functions during the Money Cart Bonus Round. These characters are:

Money Train 3: Summary

The futuristic style is a logical extension of the previous two games, but it also leaves us wondering what direction Relax Gaming will take in the future. As expected, the game's pace and atmosphere are excellent, and the characters are well-developed. Unfortunately, the only extra feature outside of the main attraction is the sticky symbol streak respins feature, which has the potential to build up a multiplier. It does break up the monotony regularly, but why not give us a taste of some of the base game's special symbols as well? In any case, the Money Cart round is the main attraction, and this is unsurprisingly the best version of it to date. As expected, you receive some new modifier symbols, but perhaps more could have been done to make them stand out. It is a highly entertaining feature, and the 100,000x multiplier is exceptional, given Relax Gaming's history of big wins.
